Gone With the Words

Gone With the Words is a performance by Xiao Ke × Zi Han. Connected by large iron hooks and rope, the two artists move slowly and gaze at one another on a 40-metre-long white fabric. In a silent dialogue, they lead and contain each other’s actions.

Each wears an infusion sack filled with ink. The ink runs through a tube and falls from their fingers onto the fabric, leaving traces as they move. These traces gradually disappear within fifteen to thirty minutes, leaving the white fabric in the space.
