Niao Niao Festival

Niao Niao Festival is an independent grassroots festival of live performance initiated by the Shanghai art collective Zuhe Niao. As members of Zuhe Niao, Xiao Ke and Zi Han worked with Zhang Xian, FengziXX, and others to organize, curate, and deliver three editions of the festival. Centering independent creators and maintaining an autonomous position and working model, Niao Niao Festival provided a platform for emerging local artists to present their work and activated diverse forms of local live practice.
