With is a site-specific work by Xiao Ke × Zi Han. Long engaged with socially engaged theatre and conceptual theatre, the artists use minimal movement to show the original, peaceful relationship between body and life. They seek natural movement for a simple dance performance: in a natural environment, the two bodies converse as if breathing, while the site is gradually constructed through time and the traces of their actions.

Step by step, the initially simple and peaceful movement changes toward violence and force. The idea connects with the artists’ feeling of contemporary China: harmony on the surface, with violence and conflict hidden inside.
