PROJECT NOTE
The Germany / Netherlands version is the first version of CHINAME, developed through the TAIFUN Project Residenz Niederrhein. It combines exhibition and live performance as a way of opening discussion around Chinese identity.
The exhibition includes a four-channel mono sound installation; the documentary film WHEN WE’RE TALKING ABOUT WHAT IS CHINESE — 2018GE, 35'16"; and 27 CHINAME_2018_GERMANY interview portraits.
