Darling Hurt III — Rolling

During 3:30–4:30 pm on 7 December 2011, Xiao Ke rolled along Wenxin No.1 Road Pedestrian Street in Shenzhen. Dressed in white, she made slow, close contact with the street surface, using her body to record the imprints of urban development. The speed of Shenzhen’s growth contrasts sharply with the pace of her rolling body, forming a silent conversation between an individual and the urban environment.
