Darling Hurt V — Crush

From May to June 2012 in Shanghai, Xiao Ke and Zi Han carried 100 white T-shirts and had them crushed at 14 crossroads, each marked with its time and place. On 30 June and 1 July, Sick Room V, To and Fro, a physical theatre work on these shirts, was performed at Papertiger Theatre in Beijing. Darling Hurt V connects social theatre, installation, video, photography and physical theatre, returning ‘the crush’ to the street, theatre, memory and thought.
